How To Choose Your Clock

Where To Put A Clock

Then again, the hard part isn’t deciding which room to put your clock in (in fact, it’s probs the easiest bit), the hard part is deciding where exactly in the room you should put your clock.

A clock should be placed in a visible, uncluttered section of the room. Think above fireplaces in living rooms, above desks in a study room and on the wall facing the dining table in the dining room. You want the clock to be to align with your eye line so it catches your eye when your doing various tasks, ensuring you’re not running late for an important rendezvous. This means don’t hang your clock opposite a window or balcony, and instead hang it so it faces a door or is just to the side of it.

According to Feng Shui principles, you should never place a clock at the foot of your bed, and who are we to disagree with the ancient Chinese.
