Working with an abstract rendering of shapes, Tanja Schaub sets out to convey the beauty and complexity of nature in her work. Her artworks are deliberately ambiguous in content, an effect generated by her active utilization of negative space. The block colours stand in contrast to the fluid production of her gestural movement, and also attests to her background in graphic design.
