Olesya Izmaylova

Hello! My name is Olesya Izmaylova, I am an artist based in Finland. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I worked with oil and pastel in art schools since 2014 and then fell in love with acrylic. I developed my own style through many years of education and painting experience. I paint in a unique technique using acrylic and watercolor pencils and work on different surface (e.g. canvas and thick paper) in various sizes.

My artworks reflect my own values: freedom to be real, to be bright, brave, gentle, fashionable, stylish - depends on how the person wants to manifest himself today. I believe everyone is unique and have a right to express him- or herself in own best possible way. In my figurative paintings, I try not to portray specific personalities, but to convey a mood, feelings and emotions, so that people can find themselves or their loved ones in the picture.
