Sisal is an environmentally friendly fiber, as it is biodegradable and almost no pesticides or fertilizers are used in its cultivation. The sisal is intricately wrapped around grass or banana leaves, creating these unique and colorful baskets. Hanging instructions: A loop is sewn into the basket for hanging or simply use a tack or nail directly through the sisal; they are reversible and can be hung either way for a different look.
