Inspired by Nature, Influenced by Design
Kind of Cyan is a studio of two designers specialised in gallery quality cyanotypes and based between Barcelona and Miami.
Our cyanotypes are made by coating high-quality Italian watercolor paper with a light-sensitive emulsion. We then expose them in direct sunlight for several minutes using a photo negative to get the best image quality. Finally, the prints are washed and fixed with water to stop the reaction, making each one completely unique.
