Margarida Almeida's (b.1998, Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal) work is developed between painting and collage, where she often appropriates materials with some type of intervention. The use of collage is related to its affinity to life itself, and to the transformative cycles of nature. Although not figurative, her work is not informalist - each shape contains a sign and reveals a specific, but concealed, and sometimes lost narrative.
Its a very soulful print. I can't help but smile and feel a calmness every time I look at it. It was money well spent. I chose a black frame and it looks great.
We are very happy with the painting. It adds a nice touch to the living room. Very good quality and price is very reasonable.
