The delightful large Gluggle Jug is based on a design that has been used for 100 years. The air is trapped in the tail resulting in a glug noise when the contents are poured, making an amusing addition to the dining table. It is useful for pouring water or your favourite refreshment at meal times with friends and family.

These fantastic gluggle jugs are made from durable stoneware, are a unique country kitchen accessory and are an ideal present to amuse family, friends and fishermen.

A special pair of jugs were made in 1958 for presentation to the Queen and Prince Philip on their visit to Britannia Naval College to present New Colours. This gift undoubtedly helped the popularity of the jugs and have become great collector’s items. They have also been used to advertise ‘Plymouth Gin’.
