Set of 3 Letterpress Die Cut Decorations
It’s difficult to get the whole idea through these photographs but these card decorations are all foil decorated so that they shine when the light hits them. The hand decoration is coloured with red and gold foil, the angel decoration is coloured with pink and gold foil and the dog decoration is coloured with blue and gold foil.
Through the process of decoration the foiled parts are also embossed into the card. The decorations come ready strung with coloured twine.
The reverse side of the decoration is blank so you could use this to write a message.
The first versions that Louise Lockhart made of these products were made from the cardboard from a tomato puree tube packaging. The current versions are made in Glasgow on a huge old-fashioned press.
