These gorgeous orange colour block baskets are handwoven for The Basket Room in South Western Kenya. These baskets area great for storage and are available in three handy sizes and can be used as flower pots and planters for indoor plants as well as being useful dressing table organisers for jewellery, and stylish desk tidies.

These baskets are made by small co-operative women's weaving groups in Kenya and help women support their families since subsistence farming alone often fails to meet the families needs. All products are fair trade and when you buy one of these woven baskets you are actively supporting these weavers’ livelihoods, and supporting The Basket Room in their commitment to empowering women. Each woven basket is supplied with a thank you card from the weaving cooperative.
