Gavivi Mango Wood Fluted Bowl
The decorative hand carved etching that adorns the edge of the Gavivi shallow serving bowl adds a striking detail. The low sides and flat surface are perfect for serving cheeses, breads and other sharing foods. The natural grain of the mango wood has a varied and warm tone.
Rather than being carved from a single piece of wood you can see from the photographs that it is made up of lengths of wood that are then joined and this is then formed into the bowl shape. Hence you can see the different tones of the different planks of wood used to construct the bowl.
Would also look handsome when it is not in use. Could happily sit on a kitchen table and become that place where you deposit phone chargers, the sports section from The Observer (who reads that stuff?!) etc. etc.
