The mango wood for this furniture is a sustainable product. The mango trees are grown for their fruit and harvested by small scale farmers over a number of years. When the trees no longer produce fruit they are cut down and new trees planted. By utilising the wood for furniture production it provides the farmers with a supplementary income.
