The Grip candleholder, designed by Jens Fager for Muuto, is a small but still sovereign candlestick.
The designer Jens Fager explained about the design: "With Grip, I wanted to create an aesthetic candleholder, which perfectly unites two basic functions with its simple design – giving light and avoiding flickering.
If everything is reduced to the essence of the function, all the details, proportions and the finish must be perfect." Muuto and Fager chose the name Grip for the candleholder in order to emphasise its function:
The small lamp is safely portable with one hand, like the nightlight from the old days, and can thereby be carried from the dining table to the couch table, to the nightstand, or to other cosy places.The Grip candleholder is made out of powder-coated aluminium by Muuto.
