Le Corbusier Paper Models - Marc Hagan-Guirey

Marc Hagan-Guirey goes by the name Paper Dandy and has written a number books concentrating on the technique of paper folding and cutting called kirigami. Kirigami is a version of origami that has the addition of cutting the paper but typically does not include glue.

The name of the craft was arrived at from the words kiri and kami which mean "cut" and "paper" respectively.

Le Corbusier is a modernist icon and his architectural style and influence has been manifold. With this book you can create 10 of his most iconic buildings by following the step-by-step instructions and cutting, scoring and folding the removable templates in the book. All you need in addition is a cutting mat, a sharp craft knife and a metal ruler.

The buildings in the book include Villa Savoye, Maison Jaoul, Chandigarh Palace and the Unite d'habitation in Marseille. It also includes brief descriptions and photographs of the buildings that you are trying to model.
