Golden Leaf Garland
This decorative metal garland stretches to 150cm in length and is made up of a length of twisted wire onto which are threaded hand beaten and moulded leaf forms. The leaves that are hanging along the length of the wire are slightly different sizes and shapes and all have indentations pressed in to them to give the form of the veins in a leaf. The leaves are attached to the wire via a jump ring at the tip of each leaf.
There are 21 leaves along the wire in total and they are made from a brass sheet which is not polished to a high sheen and the decoration is therefore not too gaudy. The decoration could be hung from a stair hand rail or along a mantelpiece or alternatively could be placed along the length of a table or coiled into a circular shape as part of a table decoration scheme. It could even be a Christmas tree decoration.
This leaf decoration could also be used in conjunction with the mistletoe garland.
