Fixpencil - 3mm
This pencil is made in Switzerland by Caran d'Ache. It has a matt black finish to the metal body and features a 3mm thick lead. This design was invented by a Geneva based engineer in 1929 and was put into production by the Swiss firm a year later.
It was the world's first mechanical pencil, and remains an enduring classic.
The push button at the (non-lead) end of the pencil can be removed to use the integrated pencil sharpener that is housed within in; thus ensuring that you can keep the pencil lead's pointed end.
The pencil is supplied with in a metal slim profile box which is formed to be as slim as possible while still fully protecting the pencil. To house the pencil within this box you need to retract the lead so that it fits snugly.

I placed order on 15/01 and finally received the correct item on 4/02. No correspondence from vendor - even though they initially sent the incorrect item. Which I still have and do not know how/where to return. Why should I have to chase and follow up to complete the transaction? I paid my money in good faith, to buy beautiful items, not to find more stress.. Painful
