This strong, deep green takes inspiration from the painted shutters and doors of Amsterdam. It works particularly well with whites and creams and botanical imagery and plants, as well as looking brilliant with earthy yellows and reds – try teaming it with Primer Red, Arles and Old Ochre.

Now a global phenomenon, Annie Sloan first developed the Chalk Paint® range (named for its velvety, ultra matt finish) in 1990 to create a versatile paint that would work beautifully on furniture without priming or sanding; that would be easy to use and quick to dry; and that could be used for a number of different paint techniques.

Technical information

1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres (140 square feet). After painting, seal indoor furniture with Chalk Paint® Wax. On floors, seal with Chalk Paint® Lacquer.
