In the 1960s, when details on the space race headlined the cover of every magazine and the Russian's sputnik satellite inspired a whole movement in futuristic home décor, rod and ball construction really had a moment. We've revived the best of that construction and plated it in a modern brass finish so that it simultaneously harkens the past and beckons to the future. Situated atop a clear base, the combination of metal and crystal paired with a cotton drum shade make for a versatile piece that will last for decades to come.
