Relationship between our inner and outer selves.
My work explores the relationship between our inner and outer lives. I am interested in people, societies, and how our sense of self changes as part of our groups. There is tension between who we think we are inside and who we appear to be on the outside.
Even since I was a student, I have been interested in what we can see of a person based on their outer self. I have wondered about the connections between the inner and outer selves and the interactions with our world. These images allow us to introspect, offering the commonalities all people face as part of humanity.
