Jay Fine Art

Eclectic imagery with an edge

Scottish based John Baker has been involved in photography, graphics, and imaging since the tender age of only 5 years old when, in 1959, he won a Kodak Brownie Cresta 120 camera in a word competition run by his local Co-op. He has changed style and equipment several times since those days, and now concentrates on fine art and landscape imagery using photography, Ai imaging, and a mix of the two.

Also a magazine editor, writer, and publisher, he is well placed not only to create images, but also to curate his collection of over 50,000 photographic images held in negative, transparency, glass plate, and digital formats. Over 35,000 images in the photo collection are his own work. More recently Ai image creation has amassed a collection of over 100,000 works on all subjects imaginable - plus a few unimaginable!
