Rising Moon Studio

Rising Moon Studio is a mother + daughter duo who create artwork together using many cultures as inspiration. Their artistic journey started in a dark time of their lives. After Theresa (Mom) was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and then a year later in 2019, painting and drawing became part of the healing process for both. Theresa has been cancer-free and in remission for 2 years now, but they still continued their artistic journeys together today. Theresa’s (mother) paintings can be described as a stylized medley of uplifting visual narratives. Her use of vibrant color and symbolism share an idealized representation of the human spirit and a symbiotic bond with nature. Taylor (daughter) primarily uses pen on paper for her medium. She excels in transforming geometric and curvilinear forms that emulate the way the universe operates in the energetic realms of both microcosm and macrocosm.
