Organic Abstractions Studio

Alex, the human behind Organic Abstractions Studio, is an artist who specializes in creating abstract and emotional pieces using photography, graphic design, and acrylic on canvas. Each piece represents moments in life, blending scenes and colors to evoke the passage of time. Alex's work predominantly features photography of landscapes, plants, and nature, which is then edited and transformed into artwork that captures more than just the visual aspect of the moment. The use of static and grain gives the designs a vintage and authentic feel, enhancing the sensation of fading memory. Some of the artwork, titled as generative designs, are created using code, combining the creative direction of art with the visual capabilities of a computer. The programming for the generative designs is done in Clojure script, using the language's efficiency and complexity to govern the rules for each piece. By providing input to the algorithm, it is possible to produce any desired combination of colors and shapes. Creating art with code allows for the production of unique individual pieces from an infinite number of generated combinations.
