Though they share an interest in fashion, that’s where their similarities end - personality-wise, they’re a total odd couple. They decided to inject their ‘opposites attract’ philosophy into their designs by making all their bags reversible. They believe that no woman should get boxed in by her bag - Maria Maleta designs can be switched up according to your mood, outfit, or whatever’s floating your boat.

Maria Maleta’s bags are handmade in Porto, Portugal, and their designs reflect the spirit and aesthetic of the city. The designers apply their laser-sharp attention to detail to every step of the manufacturing process - from sourcing the raw materials, to production and packaging.
