Retired at last, time now to be creative. Lives in Reading, Berkshire. On a very crisp February morning in 2023, I discovered a naturally frozen layer of ice on a water trug in my garden, easing it loose, I held it up to the sun and was amazed by the texture of the crystal clear ice. I started taking photos through it, using it as a filter. I have now mastered creating crystal-clear ice and continue with my ice photography.
