Raw and lacking any influences of formal artistic training, Kellan David's work is an unapologetic medley of various colour palettes, materials, and processes, which reflect his versatility as an artist and depth of perspective as a human being. His work draws on his own experiences in modern society, often displaying influences of modern street art, abstract expressionism and hard-edge geometric abstraction, reproducing familiar artistic elements and arranging them into varying conceptual layers in order to create otherwise unattainable variations of colour, depth and visual focal points.
