Hongli Sieg, a Chinese-American artist, graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in 1995. With a background in corporate image and advertising, she founded her own design company in Shanghai. Later, she studied at Blue Elephant Painter Studio in Maryland. Since settling in Kansas City in 2014, she has delved into Native American art, showcasing her work at the Carnegie Art Museum in 2016. Beyond her art, she fosters cultural exchanges between Native Americans and Chinese. Notably, she titled the "Dream of Chu Wang" exhibition at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in 2017, bridging Sino-American cultures. Recently, she explores the intersection of religion, art, and artificial intelligence, infusing the art world with fresh perspectives.
