Landscape and art photographer Geertjan Plooijer
Geertjan was born in 1957 in Utrecht. His parents photographed and filmed. On his 12th birthday, he got his first camera and started taking pictures, spending a lot of time in his parents’ darkroom. After military service, he studied photography in London and obtained his degree in photography there. His photography of landscapes and art is influenced by Edward Weston, Man Ray and Izis.
