i started saying that a long time ago. not sure how it came to me, but i believe some of the best art in this world (visual and otherwise) is born in pain.

the sad songs sing to us that we aren’t alone in our sorrows, the angry poem wakes us up out of complacent comas, and the art that gives our pain color and shape is the truest art.

as for my art, here you'll find my paintings, drawings, sculptures, needle-felted creations, preserved spider web collages, and more. i am working to create digital versions of all my past works, so you can have your very own weird art merch without worrying about matting and framing an original painting.
