Luke Eastop is the grandson of studio potter Geoffrey Eastop who produced pottery in collaboration with John Piper. Luke now works in the studio of his late grandfather in Hampshire.
Luke's work is made from a blend of clays and is thrown on the wheel and then trimmed and glazed by hand. They are matt on the exterior and glazed internally with a satin finish. Each piece is signed to the underside.
These small crucible shaped pieces are a really pleasing object to hold in the hand and while they look great on a shelf they are also the perfect vessel for snacks or a really thick Greek yoghurt.
We recommend washing these pieces by hand . . . . with care.
We have this form in three different colours; oatmeal, burnt red and white.
